New Music: Chris Brown – ‘Last All Night’

Just hours after releasing Heartbreak on a Full Moon, Chris Brown serves up another treat with his bonus track “Last All Night.”

Over hand snaps and a hypnotic instrumental, Brown tries to seduce his lady with “freaky” lyrics. “Be submissive,” he sings. “Baby, I’ma fuck it up / I see the moon, lovin’ ’til the sun come up / It’s too good, I’m trying not to bust a nut.”

Breezy announced the track as a gift to his fans. “Wanted to do something special for the ladies,” he wrote.

“Last All Night” adds to Breezy’s onslaught of new music. His 45-song double album Heartbreak on a Full Moon is out now featuring R. Kelly, Jhené Aiko, DeJ Loaf, Lil Yachty, Usher, and Gucci Mane.

Nicki Minaj Stars in H&M Holiday Campaign

It might be Halloween, but Nicki Minaj is already getting into the Christmas spirit.

The Young Money queen stars in H&M’s holiday 2017 campaign. She shared the first image from the winter wonderland-themed shoot, which was shot in Scotland.

Dressed in a flowy white dress, Minaj shows off her pearly whites in the photo, which finds her swinging on a carousel. The image is expected to be part of a larger campaign with the Swedish clothing retailer.

Nicki has supported H&M in the past. In 2011, she showed up to Versace for H&M’s launch. This year, she donned a black and red H&M kimono at the Met Gala.

Nicki is currently working on her fourth studio album, the follow-up to 2014’s The Pinkprint.

Willow Smith Drops Her New Album ‘The 1st’

Two years after dropping her debut album, Ardipithecus, Willow Smith unleashes her sophomore album, The 1st.

The 11-song project, which features the recently-released “Romance,” finds Willow ruminating on love, growth, and personal exploration. “Hey mom, I met a boy,” she sings on the opening song, “Boy.” “He plays guitar. He likes Quentin Tarantino and really sad songs. Anxiety attacks when he wakes up in the morning and I can’t help the thought, he thinks I’m boring ’cause I come from a cluster of super bright stars.”

Backed by genre-bending music, the album carries a folk spirit of singer-songwriter honesty. “Romance,” which closes the project, features more thoughts on the world around the budding star. “Romance doesn’t exist,” she sings. “It’s a hoax to trick your mind into thinking that perfection exists.”

Taking to Twitter, Willow celebrated her latest release. “Enjoy this emotional regurgitation from the depths of a burgeoning woman,” she wrote.

Today also marks Willow’s 17th birthday. Her mother Jada Pinkett Smith paid tribute to her youngest daughter on Twitter. “My baby girl is 17 today,” she wrote. “Thank you for being the sweetest daughter and the most wonderful friend. Happy bday! I ❤️ U✨.”

Ty Dolla $ign & YG Perform ‘Ex’ on ‘Kimmel’

Ty Dolla $ign brings the Beach House to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Introduced by guest host Shaquille O’Neal, Ty performed “Ex” with a little help from YG. Surrounded by back-up dancers, Dolla rocked out to his 112, Ma$e, and Notorious B.I.G.-inspired cut, which pulls inspiration from 1996’s “Only You.”

With the backdrop providing Southern California vibes, including beautiful palm trees, Dolla and YG went back and forth on the melodic, R&B, and hip-hop track. Meanwhile, dancers swayed to their rhythm.

T came back out for a solo rendition of “So Am I.” Supported by his live band, Dolla asked the ladies to make some noise for his reggae and electronica-infused cut. “If you’re looking for a real one,” he sang with beach balls behind him, “So am I.”

“Ex” and “So Am I” are singles off Ty’s Beach House 3. Featuring Pharrell, The-Dream, Tory Lanez, Damian Marley, 24hrs, Skrillex, and Dolla’s girlfriend Lauren Jauregui, the project is out now.

Last night, Ty celebrated the release of BH3 with a Halloween party at 41 Ocean in Santa Monica. The crooner and Jauregui dressed up as Alice and the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.

JAY-Z to Be Honored with Grammy Salute to Industry Icons Award

Put your diamonds in the sky.

21-time Grammy winner JAY-Z will be honored with the Grammy Salute to the Industry Icons Award at the 2018 Pre-Grammy Gala, which is set to take place Jan. 27 at the Sheraton New York Times Square.

“We are absolutely thrilled and delighted to honor JAY-Z with this year’s Grammy Salute to Industry Icons Award,” said Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy. “His contributions as an industry trailblazer and music visionary only begin to touch on the tremendous impact he’s made both in entertainment and beyond.”

Since the 60th Annual Grammys will take place in New York on Jan. 28, the tribute was even more appropriate for the “Empire State of Mind” MC. “JAY-Z also embodies the vibrant spirit of New York City,” added Portnow. “We couldn’t imagine a more fitting honoree as we return to Manhattan for this year’s Grammy Awards.”

Presented by Clive Davis and the Recording Academy, the annual Pre-Grammy Gala has previously honored the likes of David Geffen, Berry Gordy, Debra L. Lee, Doug Morris, and Antonio “L.A.” Reid. “JAY-Z is a quintessential icon and I couldn’t be happier and more excited to share the evening with him,” said Pre-Grammy Gala co-host Clive Davis. “What a night this will be!”

Hov is currently on his “4:44 Tour,” which kicked off last week in support of his latest album, 4:44. The chart-topping project has received critical acclaim for its confessional spirit, exploring the life and times of Shawn Carter more intimately than ever before.
