New Music: Tory Lanez – ‘Blue Jay Season’

Batter up. Back with another “Fargo Fridays” release, Tory Lanez knocks it out of the park on “Blue Jay Season,” inspired by his hometown baseball team.

Produced by Play Picasso, Lee.T, and Tory himself, the Toronto crooner allows his voice to echo with Auto-Tune throughout the clip. “Like the Blue Jays,” he rhymes. “New Toronto, bitch, we ballin’ on your Blu-rays / I’ve been mobbin’ ’round the city for like two days / Stashin’ all this dirty money in a suitcase.”

But “Blue Jay Season” actually sounds like a blend of two songs. The first, a more uptempo cut, molds into the second, more mellow version of the track near the end.

The Blue Jays anthem follows “Radar,” the DJ SpinKing collaboration that dropped earlier this week, and “Bodmon Song,” the solo “Fargo Fridays” cut that arrived last week.

While he’s dropping a slew of new music, he’s also celebrating accomplishments. Earlier this week, Tory noted “Luv’s” continued success.

“My record #Luv just passed 75 million streams on Spotify,” he tweeted. “This is crazy .. Thank u.”

Original Murder Inc. Members, Ja Rule, DMX, and Jay Z Take a Picture Together

A rap supergroup that never was reunited for a photo recently as Jay Z, Ja Rule and DMX, the original Murda Inc., stood side-by-side for the first time in 15 years.

The three were spotted together at an event. Back in 1999, these three rappers were supposed to record an entire album together, but it never happened. Their grouping resulted in the creation of two songs including “Murdergram” from the “Streets is Watching” soundtrack and “It’s Murda” from Ja Rule’s “Venni Vetti Vicci.” Fans never got what could have been a game-changing album. Instead, all three of these men went on to become 3 of the biggest rappers of all time. They released classic singles and albums and dominated mainstream hip-hop for almost a decade. Jay Z is still one of the most prominent figures in all of the media.

The group was assembled by Murder Inc. frontman Irv Gotti. All three of these men had close ties to him. At the time, his label had not been established yet, but both Jay Z and DMX were multi-platinum artists. Ja Rule had one major appearance on Jay’s “Can I Get A.” The verse made Ja Rule an instant star. DMX went in his direction and beefed with both of these men at some point in his career. Now it seems like all the tension has finally died down.

Robert De Niro Calls Donald Trump a Punk, Wants to Punch Him in the Face

Robert De Niro released a scathing video where he tears up Donald Trump and says that he wants to punch the Republican presidential candidate in the face.

The clip shows De Niro standing in front of the camera airing out Trump while encouraging millions of Americans to vote. “He’s so blatantly stupid. He’s a punk. He’s a dog. He’s a pig. He’s a con. A bullsh*t artist. A mutt who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Doesn’t do his homework. Doesn’t care. Thinks he’s gaming society. Doesn’t pay his taxes. He’s an idiot. Colin Powel said it best. ‘He’s a national disaster.’ He’s an embarrassment to this country,” he said.

De Niro went on to express his anger for the direction of America. “It makes me so angry that this country has gotten to this point that this fool, this bozo has wound up where he has. He talks about he wants to ‘punch people in the face.’ Well I’d like to punch him in the face. This is somebody that we want for president? I don’t think so,” he continues. De Niro claims to care about the direction of this country. He’s also a Hillary Clinton supporter. He told The Daily Beast last year that he hopes she becomes president. “Hopefully it will be her,” said De Niro. “I think that she’s paid her dues. There are going to be no surprises, and she has earned the right to be president and the head of the country at this point.”

Trump Recorded Talking About Getting Women: Just Grab Them By the P***y

The Washington Post recently released video of Donald Trump making derogatory remarks about women in 2005 while visiting the set of the soap opera, “Days of Our Lives.” The Republican presidential nominee could be heard speaking about how he can get away with coming on to women due to his celebrity status, “Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the p***y. You can do anything.”

After the video was published, Trump apologized for his remarks, “This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course – not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended.”

Kehlani Addresses Suicide Attempt, PartyNextDoor & Kyrie Irving Drama

Kehlani recently opened up about difficult times she suffered earlier this year, including her suicide attempt, during an interview with Power 106’s The Cruz Show in Los Angeles. While she didn’t specifically mention her suicide attempt, Kehlani shared her current state of mind, revealing, “I’m strong enough to thank God to be able to talk about it in a positive way and only push forward in an inspirational way.”

She also touched on the social media response from fans, “I think it was a combination of things. It was one, the response was insane. Two, I was a 21-year-old going through the biggest heartbreak of my life. So on top of it, being a public, very scary thing with that, I’m hurting y’all. I’m going through heartbreak. This is a young woman who is dealing with a guy. On top of all that, it was that. It was really recovering from all these things at once.”
