Travis Scott Reveals ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’ Release Date

It’s about to be lit. Travis Scott’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight finally has a solid release date.

After teasing several dates over the past couple months, La Flame has announced that his sophomore album will arrive on Aug. 26 via Apple Music.

“AUGUST 26 2016,” he tweeted. “BITTSM SEE U THEN.”

The follow-up to last year’s Rodeo has already spawned the single “Pick Up the Phone” featuring Young Thug and Quavo, but Travis doesn’t want listeners to just focus on the singles.

“I want y’all to take this album in as whole,” he tweeted. “I’m so anti singles. U will love me for this. Trust in the flame.”

The project, he revealed on .wav radio, will also feature Kendrick Lamar, Cashmere Cat, Kamaiyah, and Kid Cudi, who’s just as excited to hear the LP.

During Friday’s premiere episode of .wav radio on Beats 1, the Houston rapper also debuted a new song called “The Hooch,” as well as his remixes to Usher’s “No Limit” and the Kanye West-assisted remix to Alicia Keys’ “In Common.”

Beyoncé’s ‘Formation World Tour’ Earns $210 Million in Ticket Sales

Beyoncé clearly knows how to get the world in “Formation.” She’s done such a great job at that, in fact, that her “Formation World Tour” has grossed more than $210 million, and she’s not done yet.

Billboard reports that Queen Bey’s global run on the “Formation World Tour” has generated that whopping figure by selling more than 1.8 million tickets for 40 performances with nine more to go.

The tour has gone through North America and, more recently, through Europe, where she performed 17 shows at 16 venues, generating $86.9 million in box office sales.

That leg of the tour led to some milestones. Her two-day extravaganza at London’s Wembley Stadium, for instance, drew 142,500 members of the BeyHive on July 2 and 3, earning $15.3 million. That’s the sixth-highest gross of the year for an artist of any genre, according to the report.

The Euro run also featured the best-attended show of the “Formation Tour.” That distinction went to Stade de France in Paris where a total of 75,106 tickets were sold. The second best-attended show was the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., where 55,736 tickets were copped.

Revenue from the European stretch of the tour also earned Beyoncé the No. 1 slot on this week’s Billboard tally of “Hot Tours.”

Now, ‘Yoncé takes a brief pause before launching the second U.S. leg on Sept. 7 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The nine-city trek will take Queen Bey across the country once again, capping things off Oct. 2 in Nashville.

Lil Bibby Denies Getting Chain Snatched After Major Brawl at Show

Friday [August 12], rapper Lil Bibby responded to rumors that his chain was stolen after a grainy video of men allegedly fighting over his jewels has gone viral. The clip shows the beginning of the brawl during G-Herbo and Bibby’s show Thursday night [Aug. 11], where Bibby is seen handing his chains to a member of his team when all hell broke loose. As complete pandemonium erupted, the shaky camera only caught a glimpse of the fight, another female fan trying to take a selfie with G-Herbo, and ultimately G-Herbo smacking the camera out of the cameraman’s hands.

Though there were rumors that the Chicago rapper became a victim of a recent chain snatching, he denied the rumors on his Instagram page by showing his two bright pieces around his neck, safe in his possession.

Stream Troy Ave’s Album ‘Roland Collins’

Troy Ave’s grind doesn’t stop.

In the midst of his ongoing legal drama surrounding the May shooting incident that left him injured and charged with attempted murder, the BSB spitter unleashes an album that pulls its title from his government name: Roland Collins.

Troy uses the 10-track project to address his case. “I am innocent,” he raps. “Why the hell they acting like I did it? / Only family and beautiful women see me on visits / And I never miss one / And I miss my two sons.”

Earlier this month, Ave sued Live Nation and Irving Plaza, claiming that the venue was at fault for the infamous shooting after an alleged security breach.

Troy is out on $500,000 bond and still faces the attempted murder charge for his role in the incident.

Charlamagne Explains Photo with Drake, Sends Drake 6 Ace of Spades Bottles

For inquiring minds who still want to know what was behind Drake’s photographed with Power 105.1 personality, Charlamagne Tha God—following his four-night finale at Madison Square Garden on Monday [August 8]—finally got some answers. Tha God himself has spoken on his Brilliant Idiots podcast implying that while it would be valid to have interpreted it as a shot at a frequent rival, their convergence was not initiated by Drake, but by himself, as a gesture of gratitude.

Fans will recall that in the heat of battle with Meek Mill last year, Drake invoked Charlamagne’s name in his “Back to Back,” diss. “You gonna make me step out of my f***in’ frame/ You gonna make me buy bottles for Charlamagne,” he rhymed, before making good on his word and having six bottles of Dom Perignon delivered to The Breakfast Club co-host. The move confused many, as up until that point, and even at times after the deed, Charlamagne had become famous for trolling the Toronto rapper. With Charlamagne having clowned Drake as “the guy using a feather to tickle people’s toes,” only days before the concert series, the photo caught those who’ve followed the saga for a loop.

According to Charlamagne, however, there is no reason why one ought to be surprised, recently stating, “We got such short term memories that they forgot when he sent me the bottles last year, he sent it with a card that said ‘let’s be friends.'”

Charlamagne explains that he has long meant to return the favor, but hasn’t been able to due to their conflicting schedules. Upon learning that the OVO boss was going to be in town for the weekend, he had his assistant join him in hitting the liquor store to purchase six bottles of Ace of Spades champagne. In an all but direct knock at Hot 97, he then admits to having added a card that read “An Enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
