Beanie Sigel Drops Meek Mill Diss Track "I'm Coming"

Beanie Sigel dropped diss track “I’m Coming” aiming at fellow Philadelphian, Meek Mill. The song reportedly aired Thursday morning [October 6] on Power 105.1. After a public falling out between the two, Beans was assaulted by members of Meek’s Dreamchasers, and since then the two have taken subtle and public jabs at one another through interviews, social media, and now music. Check out the song above.

Benzino: Dave Mays & Myself Never Get Props for What We Did in Hip Hop

Benzino spoke exclusively with VladTV about the downfall of The Source after he and Dave Mays left the magazine. He also said that while the magazine was long thought of as the standard for hip hop news, Benzino stated that he and Dave never get their deserved props in the industry.

During the conversation, Benzino also spoke about the importance of his relationship with Dave Mays, and how their different backgrounds made for success with The Source. He added that after they left the magazine lost its core and started to go downhill.

You can hear more of what Benzino had to say in the above clip.

Meek Mill Says He Pitched the Beanie Sigel/Philly BET Cypher

Meek Mill is taking credit for pitching the BET Philly cypher and took to social media to let it be known.

After receiving a bit of shade from Beanie Sigel, Meek defended himself by letting the elder statesmen know that he put on for his city at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. “BY THE WAY….I’m the one who pitched a Philly cypher and getting Philly more involved with @bet alley ooping a n***a that’s throwing shade but still catching blessings,” Meek wrote.

Philly rappers were all over the place during the Hip-Hop Award Cyphers. There was a State Property cypher that featured Beanie Sigel and other members of the group like Peedi Crakk, Omillo Sparks and Neef Buck. Other Philly emcees like Yazz and Bre-Z appeared in the New Edition cypher as well as up and comer Kur who also rapped during the show. Despite Meek allegedly helping Sigel out, the former Roc-A-Fella enforcer still plans on dropping a diss record soon in retaliation for being sucker punched by one of the younger rapper’s affiliates. That track was previewed on his Instagram earlier this week.
