Ramsay Tha Great: I Don't Have to Live by the Street Code Just Cause I'm Black

Producer Ramsay Tha Great, who claims to have been assaulted by Chief Keef, recently spoke to TMZ about being labeled a snitch. “This generation is completely lost,” he said, “Why would I retaliate with violence? That’s stupid. I’m a college educated kid. Why would I want to throw away everything I’ve worked so hard to get just because I have to live by the street code because I’m black?” Watch above.

Donald Trump Replaces Acting Director of U.S. Immigration and Customs

Shortly after Donald Trump fired Attorney General Sally Yates for recommending lawyers not to defend his immigration order, the president replaced the acting director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Unlike the firing of Sally Yates however, Trump replaced acting ICE Director Daniel Ragsdale with no real explanation. Ragsdale was replaced by Thomas Homan, the executive associate director of enforcement and removal operations for the department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Homan is a former New York police officer and has been in immigration enforcement for 30 years. Ragsdale will retain his former position as deputy director.

Boy Scouts of America Will Now Allow Transgender Boys

After much consideration, Boy Scouts of America announced that they will allow transgender boys to join, reversing a stance of more than a century. The organization sent out a statement on the decision, explaining the decision was made “as communities and state laws are interpreting gender identity differently.”

The full statement read, “For more than 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America, along with schools, youth sports and other youth organizations, have ultimately deferred to the information on an individual’s birth certificate to determine eligibility for our single-gender programs. However, that approach is no longer sufficient as communities and state laws are interpreting gender identity differently, and these laws vary widely from state to state.”

This isn’t the first time the Boy Scouts have revised rules for joining the organization. In 2013, they allowed gay ended its ban on openly gay youth, and two years later it allowed gay adult leaders to join.

The follow-up to 2015’s Dark Sky Paradise will include an appearance from fellow Motor City wordsmith Eminem, who pops up on “No Favors.” The only other rappers on the project are Migos, who appear on “Sacrifices.”

As far as singers, Jeremih (“Light”), The-Dream (“Sunday Morning Jetpack”), and Sean’s girlfriend and TWENTY88 partner Jhené Aiko (“Same Time Pt. 1”) show up. Finally, Flint Chozen Choir and Starrah round out the album’s guests on the closer, “Bigger Than Me.”

Sean revealed the partial guest list in recent weeks. For instance, the Detroit rapper said Em brought something unique to “No Favors.”

“Eminem was the only person I heard that could be on that song,” he told Beats 1. “It reminded me of why I am such an Eminem fan. It reminded me of why I fell in love with Eminem’s work. He’s unique. He’s special. When I first heard him, I feel like he was bringing new flows to the game. When he did this verse, it brought that feeling right back to me like, ‘Wow. This is a brand new energy.’ All the things he said were so necessary for the album…That’s what I was happy about. I’m glad that he addressed things, conceptually, that necessarily weren’t addressed. Super thoughtful.”

Sean Don has a busy week ahead. After making his debut on “Saturday Night Live” earlier this month, he will perform for the first time on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” tomorrow (Jan. 31) and return to “The Tonight Show” for a performance on Feb. 2.
