This past weekend kicked off the Halloween celebrations early, and with that came a lot of interesting costumes from rappers and other celebrities.
Rappers like Tyga, Bow Wow and G Easy all took to Instagram to show off their Halloween look. G Eazy broke out his “Batman: The Animated Series” inspired Joker outfit which included some Heath Ledger-like make-up. Bow Wow kept with the comic book theme and dressed as Spider-Man for the holiday. Other rappers chose to dress like other rappers. Tyga came to his party dressed like Dipset’s Juelz Santana. The outfit was taken directly from the “Dipset Anthem” video. Juelz liked the costume so much that he even gave Tyga a shoutout for it on IG. The rest of his crew dressed like other Dipset members including Cam’ron and Jim Jones.
Chief Keef dressed as Lil Wayne. Even Puff Daddy joined in the Halloween fun by dressing as Thor. He used the holiday to promote his new Ciroc Mango. Swizz Beats showed up to his party as the mad scientist.
Chef George Duran shows us how to make some spooky Halloween snacks!
12-14 meatballs, pre-cooked
6-7 slices of thin bacon, cut in half
Peppers, carrot and other veggies for decoration
Preheat oven to 400F.
Wrap each meatball tightly with a half slice of bacon and skewer with toothpick. Place on greased baking sheet and into the oven. Cook until bacon is completely cooked and tight around each meatball. Remove and allow to cool.
Use vegetable pieces for faces and ketchup for “blood” to turn them into fun Halloween characters. Serve them on skewers.
Serves 4 as appetizer.
Caramel Apples with Razor Blade Cookies
Caramel mix, plus ingredients required
Edible silver paint or marker
Red food coloring
Make the caramel apples as you usually would and set them aside.
Take cookies and paint them with the silver edible coloring (or draw a razor blade image). Once finished take a paring knife and cut a thick slit out of the top sides of the caramel apple. Chip a corner off a cookie and gently squeeze it through the slit. If it doesn’t fit, try cutting the slit even bigger until it nestles in. Add more razor cookies if there is enough space.
Combine some corn syrup and red food coloring and use sparingly to depict blood on or around the razor cookies. Allow caramel to completely cook before passing them out to friends.
“Bloody” Red Chocolate Fountain
1 C. half and half
1 tsp. cocoa powder
1 12 oz. bag of white chocolate chips
1 Tblsp. red food coloring, plus more if you need it to look darker
Place half and half in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer on medium heat. Whisk in cocoa powder until dissolved. Once milk begins to scald, remove from heat and add white chocolate chips. Allow to sit for 30 seconds, then whisk. Mix in red food coloring until you achieve the right color.
Place red chocolate into chocolate fountain and run motor.
Serve with strawberries, marshmallows and pretzel sticks.
Note: This recipe can be multiplied.
1 8-oz. can of crescent roll dough or puff pastry dough
3 Tblsp. raspberry or strawberry jam or preserves
1 8-oz. brie cheese wheel, wax paper removed
1 black olive, pitted and sliced
1 egg, beaten
Pre-heat your oven to 375F and lay some parchment paper on a small baking sheet.
Roll out crescent roll dough and cut ¼ inch strips of dough. Spread jam or preserve evenly throughout the top of the wheel of brie. Then place brie on the baking sheet and begin to wrap the strips of dough all throughout the top of the brie, making sure to tuck the edges of each strip of dough underneath the cheese so it’s held in place. Finish until it starts to look like a zombie or mummy. Use a pastry brush to brush egg wash throughout the top of dough. Add two slices of olive to make eyes and press in the dough so it stays in place.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is fully melted. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

The beef is on between Soulja Boy and Lil Yachty.
On Friday (Oct. 28), Soulja posted a series of photos of model India Love, claiming he missed his old flame. In a screenshot posted by Soulja, Yacthy — who claimed to be dating Love — asked him to take the posts down.
Instead of obliging, however, the Ignorant Shit MC turned up with more posts about his reported ex and about Yachty. “I’ll knock Lil boat out with one punch,” he wrote on Instagram, before calling him a groupie.
To add to the beef, Soulja posted texts with India claiming she has never met Yachty. “Beefing over a girl that don’t claim u kill your self homie you a bozo,” added Soulja.
For his part, Lil Boat hit Twitter to announce that he isn’t “beefin over no female.” He continued: “All Ima say is…fuckin wit da boat you gone sink. Period.”
And although he tweeted that “it’s no beef,” Boat took to the stage at the Mala Luna Music Festival in a “Pray 4 Soulja Boy R.I.P. 2007-2016” shirt to perform what appears to be a diss freestyle.
“Fuck Soulja Boy, you a bitch-ass ni**a,” raps Yachty. “Lil Boat came in with a hundred ni**as / Fuckin’ on your bitch / I know that you mad / It’s Lil Boat, bitch / I’m so glad.”
In a video message, Boat also added: “I guess when you washed up, you getta go to desperate measures. I will never know what that’s like.”
In an interview with Uforia, Boat explained how their relationship shifted. “When your idols become your rivals,” he said. “It’s sad…I was upset at first. I’m not gonna lie…I’m not no gangster. I was upset at first.”

More could come from this rivalry. Soulja Boy is currently teasing a Yachty diss track, “Fuck Ni**a.” Looks like this feud is far from over.

What do you do when you really want to party? According to Cashmere Cat’s latest banger, you take matters into your own hands.
2 Chainz, Tory Lanez, and Starrah join the festivities on the Swedish producer’s celebratory slapper, “Throw Myself a Party.”
“This right here, this is your anthem,” raps Tity Boi. “Throw a party in the mansion / Throw a party in trap house / Drink somethin’, then pass out.”
Later, Tory joins the self-thrown bash. “Maybe we should have a party,” he sings. “Like where the fuck my bitches tonight? / And where the fuck my liquor tonight? / Tell the waitress we ain’t tip unless she gettin’ it right / So keep that liquor comin’, shawty.”
“Throw Myself a Party” is the latest Cashmere Cat track from his forthcoming album Wild Love. Recently, he also released “Trust Nobody” featuring Tory and Selena Gomez, “Adore” with Ariana Grande, and the LP’s track title featuring The Weeknd and Francis and the Lights.
Wild Love is expected this year, but has no release date. Listen below (via HHNM).
